This is about creating a “trail,” so loved ones and law enforcement can find you quickly. One of the many safety and security tips I provide in my book relates to disappearances, of various types. They can pertain to dangerous kidnappings, simple miscommunications or unfortunate accidents. When a person suddenly turns up missing, especially a child, time is of the essence. That person must be found as quickly and efficiently as possible. But, where do you start looking? In my book I provide greater detail, so you need to read this chapter and learn more. Just realize this for now, millions of disappearances happen every day to children, women, and men. Of all ages. Some are very sinister and some are just an unfortunate occurrence. But often times they are very tragic in nature. Learn how to avoid the tragedies in life.
So, I will start with the basic concept of the “Battle Buddy.” You need a responsible family member or friend you can trust. Set the ground rules up front. Inform them you only want to leave an investigative trail based on where you are and what you are doing. Think of it as leaving bread crumbs for others to later follow. This can be done through texting or any other form of private messaging. That is your goal, your intent. To leave individual bread crumbs for someone to easily find and follow. That bread crumb may actually save your life. It may later become evidence in a criminal or civil matter. You also need to set boundaries. Tell your Battle Buddy up front that you do not want to go back and forth. You just want to leave them with a bit of information for your self-protection.
“Hi, I am going out on a date tonight.” Provide all the details. This can even include spontaneous photographs or selfies. “Hi, we just arrived at such and such location.” “Hi, we are leaving now and I am taking an Uber home. Everything is okay. Will tell you more later.” “Hey, I just arrived home safely. All is good. Thank you.” You can do this for your travels as well. Going on a short local trip? Traveling somewhere for business or pleasure? Let someone know the details. What are those critical details? Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How.
No matter where you are going, no matter what you are doing, let someone know what is happening. This little Safety & Security tip can literally save millions of lives every year. It can spare people a lot of pain and suffering. You will also learn about my Individual Protection Packets and Biographical Sheets. These are tools you can use to better protect yourself and all your loved ones. Anyone you care about.
Have fun in life, but be safe at the same time.
